EHA Founders
EHA, with its unique collaboration of expertise, can support the executive leaderships of sovereign and long-term investment funds to carry out independent gap analysis of their operating models to develop a strategic investment capacity plan that embeds portfolio resilience and the investment culture that delivers on long-term investment objectives.
- Former CEO Ireland Strategic Investment Fund (ISIF), Ireland’s SIF, (2014 to 2021) and of National Pensions Reserve Fund, Ireland’s SWF and predecessor of ISIF (2010 to 2014)
- Responsible for ISIF from inception – governance, strategy, financial return, economic impact, responsible investment, team building, investment processes, marketing, origination, co-investment, portfolio monitoring, risk management, reporting, stakeholder engagement, media
- ISIF and NPRF mandates amended a number of times by government due to major changes in economic conditions
- ISIF has delivered very strong financial and economic impact results and is globally recognised as a leader in SIF implementation
- Former Advisor to the Minister of Finance, Oman (2009-2020)
- Advised on fund design alignment with national strategic objectives, on mandate and governance framework, investment guidelines, audit & risk committee charter and PPPs strategy for Oman SWF
- Investment Committee member for Oman SIF (2012-2018) – approving investment proposals, investment strategy, asset allocation and monitoring asset management and risk reports
- Providing macro economic outlook for the medium term fiscal plan and aligning the plan with SWF, SIF and SOEs
- Board member of SOEs – oil & gas, national airline.
- Currently serving as Board Director & Audit Committee Chairman of a listed Power Company in Oman
